The NAO V5 robot is fully programmable humanoid robot developed by Aldebaran Robotics in Paris.  Over 5,000 NAO units are employed world-wide for research, education, and recreation.  You’ll see NAO in the “Birth of the Bot” video because it was used in social interaction research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  NAO comes with curriculum to help students learn programming and inspire interest in the field of robotics.  NAO is also a featured robot athlete in many international RoboCup matches.  Check out the Special Features below to watch NAO demonstrate its curiosity, self-awareness, and soccer skills.
