I’m a second-year Computer Sciences graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I received my undergraduate in Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University. My work in the HCI lab focuses on human robot interaction with robot arms. Currently, I’m developing methods to optimize robot arm motion to convey the robot’s intent. My work has shown that optimizing the robot arm’s trajectory to express intent can improve collaborative task performance and perceptions of the robot. In general, my interests include robotics, human computer interaction, and machine learning.
