Allie Sauppé

Allie Sauppé is an assistant professor in the computer science department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her research explores human-robot interaction, including the use of social robots as educational tools and as collaborative partners. As a PhD student in Prof. Mutlu’s lab, she worked on projects that examined how robotic behavior could be designed and employed to achieve different task outcomes when working with a human partner. Her ethnographic study on the introduction of collaborative robots in manufacturing spaces won the Best Paper award at CHI 2015.
